Katalina’s began as Karina Aguilar’s dream long before there was a physical salon. After beauty school, she worked from home and later moved into Sola Suites.When Veranda returned from California, the two found that they worked well together. They found and renovated a larger space, opening Katalina’s House of Beauty in April 2025. Katalina’s has always been Karina’s brand and vision; Veranda later joined as co-owner.

Together, Karina and Veranda renovated the salon and opened its doors in April 2025, creating a house where independent artists can work and grow.
