Using this site & choosing your artist
This website is operated by Katalina’s House of Beauty LLC, 1909 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland, OR 97212. It provides salon information, artist profiles, appointment booking and ways to contact us. Please use the site lawfully and provide accurate contact and booking information.
Each artist has a dedicated profile and booking link. Karina’s appointments are booked through this site. Other artists may use separate booking services; review their policies before confirming an appointment. Prices, availability and service details are shown in the relevant booking system. An inquiry alone does not confirm an appointment or reserve a date.
Appointments & salon visits
Visits are by appointment; we do not accept walk-ins. You may book as far ahead as the calendar allows. Same-day appointments are possible only when availability is shown. Preparation varies by service—contact your artist with questions. Hair is included only when the service description explicitly says so; bridal hair is not included.
Bridal services begin with an inquiry to Karina. She reviews the request, discusses details directly and provides any private bridal form needed before booking. Submitting an inquiry does not reserve a date.
No accompanying guests are permitted except a necessary parent or guardian for a minor receiving a service. Children may attend only when receiving a service; the salon is not childproof. We do not provide services to children under age 1.
Parking is available in the lot. Do not use the two spaces directly in front of the physical therapy office. After parking, message your stylist; the door remains locked for safety and privacy, and your stylist will meet you at the door. Look for the large Katalina’s logo across the front doors. Contact us before your visit to discuss accessibility needs.
Payments, cancellations & contact
For Karina’s services over $75 ($76+), a $30 non-refundable deposit is required and credited toward the total. The remaining balance is due at or before the appointment. Services priced $75 or less do not require a deposit. Review the amount and payment options at checkout before confirming.
Cancellations and rescheduling must be handled directly with Karina. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. With 48+ hours’ notice, a deposit may transfer; with less notice, the deposit is lost and a new deposit is required. Same-day cancellations and rescheduling are charged the full scheduled service fee.
If you’re 20+ minutes late, we will have to cancel your appointment. The full scheduled service fee applies. No-call/no-shows are charged the full service fee and may not book again. All payments, deposits and service charges are non-refundable; no refunds are provided after a service. Discuss service concerns directly with your stylist.
